Pro carries the "Most Popular" badge. Annual cards show discount labels of 20 percent on Plus, 45 percent on Pro, and 20 percent on Scale. All three tiers include Storyblocks premium assets. Pro adds priority generation, a faster rendering queue, and priority support. Scale adds the fastest generation queue, premium support, longer 20-minute videos, a high-volume workflow, and the highest storage allowance.
A banner on the monthly view offers "Limited time: 50% off your first month," rendering Plus at $49.50 and Pro at $99.50 for month one, then the standing rate after.
One detail worth knowing: Vid.ai's published plan configuration carries $299 as Pro's list price with $199 applied as a standing discount. $299 never renders on the page, so $199 is the price.
The credit rate Vid.ai publishes and what it means
Vid.ai is the only tool in this comparison set that publishes an explicit credits-per-video rate on the pricing page itself. The tooltip beside each plan states the estimate uses "all credits for 1-minute videos at 5 credits each," and the long-form tooltip states 5 credits per minute. Short-form and long-form share one balance.
That single number makes the whole table calculable.

The curve is not monotonic. Pro is the cheapest per video on both billing modes, and Scale is about 8 percent more expensive per video than Pro. Nobody ranking for this term reports that, and it is the single most useful fact on this page.
Long-form is the same rate per minute, so a 10-minute video costs 50 credits and consumes an eighth of the Plus allowance.

Our source audit and why every ranking page is stale
We rendered Vid.ai's pricing page in a browser, toggled the annual view, cross-checked the plan configuration published in the site's own JavaScript, and compared all of it against the first page of Google results for the same query, on July 29, 2026.
Finding one: every third-party page on page one is out of date, badly. The most prominent guide reports Vid.ai as "only one pricing plan that costs $67 per month, or $58 per month if you pay annually" (Tips on Blogging, published April 2025, checked July 2026). The live page today shows three plans starting at $99. Anyone budgeting from search results will be out by at least 48 percent.
Finding two: the SERP is not about Vid.ai. The results for this query are dominated by Vidnoz, Vidu, and Vidrush, three unrelated products with similar names. Google is filling the page because no authority result exists for the actual entity.
Finding three: the refund terms are widely misreported. Third-party pages describe a "30-day money-back guarantee." Vid.ai's own FAQ is narrower: "If it has not been more than 30 days since your payment, we're happy to refund for any unused credits, no questions asked for the credits you haven't used." Spent credits are gone. That is a partial refund on the unused remainder, not a money-back guarantee.
Finding four: Vid.ai states there is no free trial, and gives a reason. Its FAQ says "We don't offer free trials because it costs us money for every video generated." Candid, and unusual for the category.
Finding five: the annual credit grants match the monthly ones exactly. Plus annual grants 4,800 credits, Pro 18,000, and Scale 42,000, which are precisely 12 times 400, 1,500, and 3,500. Annual billing lowers the price, not the allowance.
What is not included in the headline price
A trial of any kind. No free tier, no trial period. The cheapest way in is $49.50 for a discounted first month on Plus, and you keep whatever you generate.
A refund on credits you use. The 30-day window covers unused credits only.
Rollover. Vid.ai's plan records grant credits monthly with no stated carry-forward. A quiet month is a lost allowance.
Length beyond your tier. Plus caps every video at 10 minutes, Pro at 15, Scale at 20. If your format is a 20-minute faceless documentary, your real price is $499, not $99.
Queue position. Plus sits on the standard generation queue. Priority generation, faster rendering, and priority support start at Pro. That is a legitimate reason to pay more, but it is a service level, not more output.
Storage. The highest storage allowance is a Scale-only line item, with no figure published for the lower tiers.

Best for cost per video: Pro, on both billing modes. If unit price is the deciding factor, there is no argument for Scale.
Best for long-form: Vid.ai is the only product in this comparison set that publishes long-form output up to 20 minutes with a per-minute rate. Vidroot does not compete here at all.
Best for a published rate: Vid.ai puts credits per video on the pricing page. Revid and ReelFarm do not. That deserves credit.
When Vid.ai is the wrong buy
Skip Vid.ai if your budget is under $99 a month. There is no entry tier below Plus, no free plan, and no trial. This is the most expensive front door in this comparison set by a factor of five.
Skip Scale unless you specifically need 20-minute videos, the fastest queue, or the storage. Buying it for volume alone means paying more per video than Pro.
Skip the annual plans until you have run a month. The refund covers unused credits within 30 days, so a year of Pro at $1,919 becomes progressively unrecoverable as you generate.
Skip it if you post fewer than 80 shorts a month. At that volume Plus costs about $1.24 per video, which is worse than several tools priced at a fifth of the entry point.
